Flazz Max electric scooter for students

The Flazz Max has a design speed of 49 km/h and a power output of 1,5 kW, targeting students aged 16 and above for daily urban commuting.

High school students are increasingly seeking personal vehicles for independent travel to school, tutoring, and extracurricular activities. According to VinFast, when choosing a vehicle for their children, many parents consider not only design and operating costs but also performance, safety levels, and compliance with current regulations.

The newly launched Flazz Max is a VinFast electric scooter model aimed at students for daily urban travel. It features a compact design, an optimized center of gravity, and a wide footboard, making it suitable for various body types and easy for new users to control in residential areas, school zones, or busy streets.

According to the manufacturer, the Flazz Max has a maximum speed of 49 km/h, a power output of 1,500 W, and uses a 1,5 kWh LFP battery, providing a maximum range of 87 km per charge. VinFast also equips the Flazz Max with many features for young users, such as: a HMI LED color screen displaying operational information, app connectivity for vehicle positioning, remote vehicle search, battery status monitoring, and trip history.

The scooter uses an IP67 waterproof electric motor, combined with front and rear hydraulic shock absorbers, regenerative braking for energy recovery, and mechanical brakes on both wheels. These features enhance stability and safety during operation in various traffic conditions. The electric motor also ensures smooth, quiet operation with zero tailpipe emissions.

Additionally, electric scooters offer advantages in energy and maintenance costs due to their simple design. The Flazz Max is currently priced at 20,6 million VND (with battery) or 14,99 million VND (without battery).

According to Government Decree 238, starting 15/8, individuals aged 16 to under 18 operating a moto will face fines ranging from 400,000 to 600,000 VND. However, this regulation does not apply to xe gan may. The Road Traffic Order and Safety Law 2024 defines xe gan may as vehicles with a design speed of no more than 50 km/h; if electric, the power output must not exceed 4 kW. Moto refers to vehicles exceeding these thresholds. Experts believe that distinguishing between moto and xe gan may will help parents choose appropriate vehicles for their children and avoid misunderstandings regarding the new penalty regulations.
