The Northwest version features a red PG-1. Its decal design depicts winding mountain passes, expansive forests, and a connection to nature. Interspersed are traditional brocade patterns. Some components of the motorcycle are also modified for easier travel on steep, challenging terrains.
The Hanoi version comes in gray, highlighted by the phrase "Ha Noi kinh ky" (Hanoi, the imperial capital). The design incorporates patterns reminiscent of the Old Quarter's narrow streets. The PG-1 ABS 2025 "Sai Gon phon hoa" (Saigon, the prosperous city) version combines blue with dark blue decals, evoking the image of a dynamic urban center, always ready for action.

For the Mekong version, the PG-1 ABS 2025 is finished in moss green, with decals that symbolize flowing currents, recalling canals, ferry landings, and a peaceful way of life. According to the company, the Mekong-inspired PG-1 aims for flexibility and friendliness, serving as a vehicle that integrates into the daily life of the riverine region.

The Yamaha PG-1 ABS 2025 stands out with its classic and distinctive style, making it easy for users to customize according to their personal preferences and aesthetics. Its elevated body and exposed mechanical frame exude a free-spirited look. The split seat ensures a comfortable riding position for daily commutes. The rear seat can be detached to carry additional cargo.
The motorcycle is equipped with a one-cylinder, 113,7 cc engine, offering a fuel consumption rate of 1,76 liters/ 100 km, as announced by the manufacturer. It features telescopic front suspension with an H-shaped structure and 130 mm of travel. In this latest version, Yamaha made minor adjustments to the PG-1, adding an antilock braking system (ABS) to enhance safety, especially during long journeys.
The PG-1 ABS 2025 includes a new LCD screen displaying basic riding parameters. The company upgraded the knobby tires, which improve grip and contribute to its characteristic scrambler look.
"From the mountain roads of Tay Bac to the city streets of Ha Noi, from the vibrant pace of Sai Gon to the peacefulness of the Mekong Delta, the Yamaha PG-1 ABS 2025 demonstrates how a vehicle can reflect culture," said a representative from Yamaha Motor Viet Nam. "More than just a means of transport, the PG-1 creates a space for users to tell the story of where they live, how they travel, and the identity they choose to embrace."
