A private enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City has just imported a shipment of the Honda Vario 160 Repsol Limited Edition from Malaysia. While standard Vario models are officially imported from Indonesia and distributed in Vietnam, the Repsol edition is not officially available.

The Honda Vario 160 Repsol, a limited edition of 2,000 units, is produced by Honda's joint venture in Malaysia. The bike shares the same design and features as the standard model sold in Vietnam. The most significant difference is the livery inspired by the Repsol Honda racing team in MotoGP, the premier motorcycle racing championship.
The Repsol Honda MotoGP bikes feature a prominent orange, white, and red color scheme. This same color scheme is applied to the special edition Vario. The scooter's multi-spoke cast wheels are painted orange, while the rear grab handles are red.
Beyond the bodywork, the Honda Vario 160 Repsol inherits the same features as the standard version. This includes LED lighting, a fully digital speedometer, a smart key, and 14-inch wheels.
With its angular, sporty design, the Vario primarily targets male riders. It features disc brakes on both wheels, with ABS on the front. The under-seat storage has an 18-liter capacity, and a USB charging port is located in the left-side storage compartment.
The Malaysian-imported Honda Vario 160 Repsol is powered by a 160cc eSP+ engine producing 15 horsepower and 13.8 Nm of torque. It uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The Vario 160 Repsol is priced at over 80 million VND. The most expensive version of the officially sold Vario is 56.5 million VND. This makes the Malaysian import approximately 24 million VND more expensive. According to the importer, the Honda Vario 160 Repsol is not intended for the mass market. It primarily appeals to affluent customers who appreciate collectible items and limited production runs.
