Hyundai equips the Santa Fe Hybrid with a SmartStream 1.6 Turbo gasoline engine, producing 180 horsepower and 265 Nm of peak torque. This pairs with a 60 horsepower electric motor and a 1,49 kWh Li-ion Polymer battery. Together, they deliver a combined output of 235 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque. The vehicle features a 6-speed automatic transmission, utilizing Hyundai's exclusive active shift control (ASC) technology.

According to official figures, the Santa Fe Hybrid's combined fuel consumption is 6,37 liters/100 km.

The Hybrid variant's exterior remains unchanged from other Santa Fe internal combustion engine versions, with the "hybrid" logo on the rear serving as the distinguishing feature. It is fitted with 255/45 R20 wheels, similar to the Prestige variant. The interior design includes standard features such as two integrated 12,3 inch screens.

Hyundai's model is fully equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The vehicle offers a range of features, including: electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, lane keeping assist, hill start assist, downhill brake control, and blind spot collision warning and avoidance assist for reversing or exiting the vehicle.
