Jetour, a sub-brand of Chery, has unveiled the first images of its Zongheng F700 pickup. This new pickup features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain and is positioned to compete in the mid-size pickup segment, challenging models like the BYD Shark 6 in its domestic market, as well as the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux internationally.
Following the concept's debut in 4/2025 and a 6x6 version in 4/2026, Jetour plans to introduce the commercial version of the F700 at the Guangzhou Auto Show this November.

The F700 features a boxy design with headlights connected to the grille, reminiscent of classic off-road vehicles. It includes a black a-pillar, plastic body cladding, and aggressively styled wheel arches. The rear integrates taillights with a step into the bumper. The manufacturer also showcased accompanying accessories such as a roof-mounted tent, a metal rack, and a snorkel.
According to data from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the F700 measures 5,495 mm in length, making it 45 mm longer than the Chery Stockman. Its 3,350 mm wheelbase surpasses segment competitors such as the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, and BYD Shark 6.
The interior of the Zongheng F700 features a display screen spanning the length of the dashboard. Its infotainment system utilizes a large touchscreen. The center console is positioned high, integrating physical buttons.
Similar to the Chery Stockman, the Zongheng F700 utilizes a body-on-frame chassis with a coil spring rear suspension and a double wishbone setup at the front. The powertrain combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 208 horsepower, with electric motors. While Jetour has not yet announced the total system output, a comparable PHEV system in their G700 SUV delivers 892 horsepower and 1,135 Nm of torque.
The new pickup is equipped with a CATL Shenxing battery pack, supporting DC fast charging from 20-80% in just 10 minutes. Its combined gasoline-electric operating range is projected to reach 1,300 km.
According to the plan, the Jetour Zongheng F700 will launch in the Chinese market by late this year, with global exports commencing from 2027.
