Compared to its predecessor, the exterior of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 480 2026 has been redesigned to more clearly embody the Maybach style. The front features a multi-slat grille, a redesigned front bumper with chrome accents, and air intakes adorned with Maybach motifs. The headlights, alloy wheels, and taillight graphics have also been updated. With the introduction of the Maybach GLS 480, Mercedes-Maybach's range of ultra-luxury SUVs in Vietnam now expands to two versions. The GLS 480, priced at 8,999 billion dong, targets customers seeking a Maybach with a lower investment. Meanwhile, the GLS 600 remains the flagship V8-powered version, priced at over 12 billion dong. Both models share the facelifted design language and numerous interior and technology upgrades, but differ significantly in performance.
The large luxury SUV market in Vietnam, within the 7-9 billion dong price range, currently includes models such as: Lexus LX 600 (8,6-9,4 billion dong), and Range Rover Sport Dynamic SE 3.0 (8,5 billion dong). The Maybach GLS 480 adds another option to this segment, catering to customers who prioritize luxury and comfort over performance or off-road capability, which are often the strengths of many competitors.
