The Kawasaki W230 embodies the familiar retro style of the W series, which Kawasaki launched in the mid-1960s. This motorcycle is designed for easy riding and freedom, targeting young, adventurous customers.

On 29/11, Kawasaki Vietnam launched the 2025 W230 retro motorcycle, imported from Thailand. The W230 adds another option to the W series in Vietnam, following the W175 and W800.

The W230's classic aesthetic is evident in many details, including its round headlights and turn signals, which feature led technology.

The handlebars are positioned higher than the fuel tank and seat, providing a comfortable riding posture. The rearview mirrors are also retro-styled and round.

The W230 features two gauges in front of the handlebars: one displays speed and fuel level, while the other shows rpm, gear position, and engine warnings.

The Kawasaki W230 features a 12-liter teardrop-shaped fuel tank. This model is currently sold in Vietnam in a single color: metallic matte dark green.

This Kawasaki model is equipped with traditional telescopic forks. The front wheel is an 18-inch spoked rim with a disc brake, including anti-lock braking system.

The 2025 Kawasaki W230 is powered by an air-cooled, 233 cc SOHC engine, producing 18 hp at 7,000 rpm and 18,6 Nm of torque at 5,800 rpm. It features a 6-speed transmission.
The W230 is priced at 124,9 million dong. In Vietnam, it currently faces no direct competitors. The Honda CB350 H'ness, priced at 129,9 million dong with a 350 cc engine, is positioned higher than this Kawasaki model.
