At a road junction, a truck was almost through the intersection when an electric moped rider, fully covered in sun protection attire, maintained speed and drove directly into the side of the truck.
Due to the unexpected situation and its occurrence in the truck's blind spot, the truck driver had no time to react. Consequently, the moped rider and their vehicle were dragged under the truck; their injuries are currently unknown.
When approaching intersections, vehicles must reduce speed and actively observe their surroundings to manage all situations. Many moped riders habitually turn without looking, operating under the assumption that other vehicles will avoid them, which often leads to serious accidents.
Furthermore, full sun protection attire can restrict side vision, making it difficult to detect vehicles approaching from perpendicular directions. It also significantly reduces the ability to hear vehicle horns or engine sounds nearby. It is advisable to choose neat sun protection clothing that does not obstruct vision.
