The car driver, maintaining their lane, collided with a motorcycle. The motorcycle had swerved left to avoid a bicycle in front, moving into the car's lane. The car driver, seemingly unaware of the motorcycle, maintained their speed and direction. The collision caused the motorcyclist to fall, resulting in minor injuries and damage to the motorcycle and cargo.

Motorcyclists attempting to overtake should always check for traffic behind them and ensure the adjacent lane is clear before changing lanes. If overtaking is not possible, it's safer to brake and stop to avoid collisions. Car drivers, even when driving in the correct lane, should consistently monitor their surroundings for obstacles and pedestrians. In this instance, if the driver had been checking their right side, they might have been able to steer left and avoid the motorcyclist.
