The automotive market is expected to heat up in the final quarter of 2025 with a series of new models, mostly new generations or first-time releases in Vietnam, entering the popular segment.

Despite its compact size, the Minio Green seats 4 people. It features a 20 kW (27 hp) electric motor and offers a maximum range of 180 km on a single charge, according to the manufacturer. The Minio Green is equipped with both DC (up to 12 kW) and AC (up to 3.3 kW) fast charging ports.
Priced at 269 million VND, the VinFast Minio Green will be VinFast's most affordable car in Vietnam.

Positioned in the C-segment CUV category, the Mitsubishi Destinator will replace the outgoing Outlander. Dealerships are currently accepting pre-orders for early deliveries.
Like the Xpander and Xforce, the new Mitsubishi model will be imported from Indonesia. Specific configurations for the Vietnamese market have not yet been released.
In Indonesia, the Destinator features a 1.5L MIVEC Turbo engine and a CVT transmission, producing 161 hp (163 ps) and 250 Nm of torque. Similar to its competitors, this Japanese CUV also offers advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) on higher trims.
Suzuki Fronx
After discontinuing the Ertiga, Suzuki's passenger car lineup now consists of only three models: the Swift, XL7, and Jimny. While once a top seller, the XL7 has seen its market share decline over the past two years due to changing consumer preferences and increasing competition from electric vehicles in the ride-hailing segment. The Swift and Jimny serve as niche offerings.

Suzuki hopes the Fronx will share the sales burden with the XL7. The Fronx is positioned in the A+ segment, competing with gasoline-powered rivals like the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet, as well as the all-electric VinFast VF 5.
The Fronx will be imported from Indonesia, the only Suzuki plant in Southeast Asia producing this model. There, it's priced between 15,890 and 19,750 USD. In Vietnam, competitors like the VF 5, Raize, and Sonet are priced at 529 million, 510 million, and 539-624 million VND, respectively.
Higher trims of the Suzuki Fronx feature a 1.5L mild-hybrid engine with 99 hp and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The two base trims come with a standard 1.5L engine producing 103 hp and 135 Nm, coupled with a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission.
Suzuki Vietnam has announced the Fronx's launch for late 2025, but a specific date is yet to be confirmed.
