On 19/6, Audi Vietnam introduced the new generation Q3 and Q5 strategic crossover duo, featuring upgrades in technological platforms and design. The German luxury car brand aims to reclaim market share from its compatriots, BMW and Mercedes.
The new generation Q3 and Q5 models are officially distributed in Vietnam starting this June, available in two body styles: CUV and Sportback:

The new generation Audi Q3 brings a fresh perspective to the compact luxury crossover segment. Beyond its exterior, which offers CUV and sporty Sportback options, the new Q3 features a digitized, tech-rich cockpit. It also integrates advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) with many features.

Audi equips the new generation Q3 with a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 148 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. It pairs with a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission and front-wheel drive. In Vietnam, the Q3 competes in the same segment as the BMW X1, which sells one variant for 1,859 billion VND. The Q3 is priced 240-340 million VND higher than the X1.
The new generation Audi Q5 marks a significant technological advancement by utilizing the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) platform. A notable highlight is the "Audi Digital Stage" digital space, featuring the MMI Panoramic curved OLED screen cluster. This includes an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit plus digital virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch infotainment screen. Additionally, the vehicle includes a 10.9-inch MMI screen for the front passenger, a head-up display (HUD), and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The interior is enhanced by multi-color Ambient Lighting Package Pro ambient lighting, combined with Dynamic Interaction Light strips.

Its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) offer many features, including adaptive cruise control, front emergency braking assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, exit warning, front/rear cross traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, and park assist plus. The new Q5 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine generating 196 hp and 340 Nm of peak torque. It uses a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.
The Q5 competes in the same segment as the BMW X3, priced between 2,279 and 2,629 billion VND, the Mercedes GLC, priced between 2,299 and 2,799 billion VND, and the Volvo XC60, priced between 2,3 and 2,75 billion VND. Among these, the GLC is the most popular, the X3 is known for its driving dynamics, while the XC60 emphasizes safety.
