One of the Roox's key features is its redesigned interior, which offers a quieter ride and more premium details. The new kei car also boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system—a first for this class of compact cars, according to Nissan.
Drivers can now connect their phones via the NissanConnect app. The car also features a digital instrument cluster and high-quality fabric seats. The sliding second-row seats allow for flexible legroom and cargo space. A convenient storage tray is attached to the back of the front seats for rear passengers.
The 2026 Roox comes equipped with ADAS driver-assistance technology, including features like ProPilot, intelligent automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and vehicle detection, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert. The new kei car also features a surround-view monitor with multiple camera angles.
Nissan has improved the engine for better performance and fuel efficiency, while also reducing noise levels. Additional sound-deadening materials in the body contribute to a quieter cabin. Powertrain specifications will be released closer to the launch date.
The new Nissan Roox is scheduled to go on sale in late 2025, with a starting price of 10,900 USD.
