Pedestrian dashes in front of car then stops

On a dark night, a pedestrian carrying luggage darted across Highway 1A and abruptly stopped in front of a car near Bo Son Bridge on 8/9.

Under the cover of darkness, a pedestrian carrying bulky luggage darted across Highway 1A. Seeing the oncoming car equipped with a dashcam, the pedestrian abruptly stopped, hesitated, and then continued to dash across the road. Fortunately, the driver, proceeding cautiously, reacted quickly and avoided a collision.

Pedestrians should not run across highways like in this video, as it risks their safety and that of other road users. On a dark night with limited visibility, it is especially dangerous to cross a divided highway where cars can travel at speeds up to 90 km/h. It is much safer to cross at designated pedestrian crossings.
