Porsche designs panamera for cigar and wine connoisseurs

The panamera turbo, crafted by porsche's sonderwunsch customization division, is a one-of-a-kind vehicle for a dubai magnate.

Two years ago, Porsche unveiled a bespoke Panamera Turbo through its Sonderwunsch customization program. This unique vehicle is currently on display at the Icons of Porsche event in Dubai, crafted exclusively for a Dubai magnate.

The Panamera's exterior stands out with a striking two-tone paint finish, featuring Leblon Violet Metallic and Sunset Red. These colors combine to create a smooth gradient across the body, with internal gold flakes adding a unique shimmer to the Porsche model.

Additionally, the exterior features Avium Gold Metallic accents on the window trim and along the body line. The bespoke 21-inch wheels also utilize Avium Gold, further enhancing its distinct appearance.

The interior serves as a highlight, mirroring the exterior's color scheme with Sunset Red and Barrique Red elements, including the seatbelts and stitching. The cabin is appointed with premium black leather, complemented by Avium Gold accents on the steering wheel logo trim, door handles, metal buttons, and Sport Chrono clock hands.

The center console features an engraved "Sonderwunsch" inscription, denoting its special edition status. Porsche engineers also engraved the coordinates of Zuffenhausen, the German automaker's headquarters, onto the front seatbacks, adding a personal touch.

The owner further customized a cigar humidor in the front center storage compartment, crafted from cedar wood and equipped with a hygrometer to maintain perfect humidity. Additionally, the rear seats feature an illuminated champagne refrigerator, catering to a connoisseur's taste.

In this special edition Porsche Panamera Turbo, the luggage compartment is fully lined with leather. Black-plated metal details and Avium Gold accents surround the space, creating a cohesive aesthetic with the entire vehicle.

Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Personalization and Classic at Porsche, stated, "The interior of the Panamera Turbo ‘Sonderwunsch’ embodies our passion for transforming each customer's individual dreams into reality with absolute precision and meticulous attention to detail." He added that the contrasting shades and colors echo the exterior's style, while the interior space combines elegant design with the highest level of craftsmanship.

Porsche has not disclosed the cost of this level of personalization. However, considering the exclusive materials, bespoke details, and its one-of-a-kind nature, the price paid by the owner was substantial.
