Developed from the Ghost Black Badge, artisans at Rolls-Royce's bespoke design division aimed to capture the visual chaos of video game machines and the vibrant fluorescent lights of arcade rooms from the late 1970s and early 1980s. This unique vehicle, named the Ghost Gamer, is a bespoke commission for a technology entrepreneur, with its price remaining undisclosed.
Over one month, designers delved into archives of early gaming consoles, advertisements, and pixel block graphics. The result is a sedan that not only evokes the video game culture of that era but also features a hunt for hidden details, or "easter eggs", throughout the car.
The Ghost Gamer features a two-tone blue and crystal paint finish over a diamond black base, evoking classic video game machines.

The hand-painted coachline includes a detail the company calls "Cheeky Alien"—an extraterrestrial character composed of 89 pixels, each a 3 mm block. Alongside the alien logo, an 8-bit style explosion symbol is also present.
The interior is filled with video game symbols. The passenger side dashboard has been subtly redesigned to evoke the background of early Laser Base games. This detail features a spaceship crafted from 85 individual LEDs placed beneath the Ghost logo, with surrounding LEDs rearranged to create the effect of a spaceship soaring through a starry sky.
The black and brown leather seats feature 8-bit "Player 1-4" embroidery on the seatbacks, corresponding to four players across four seats, with each character displaying electronic hues like a flickering screen. Additionally, the headrests are embroidered with a pixelated "Cheeky Alien" in four distinct colors.
A highlight in the rear seating area is the refrigerator panel, where Rolls-Royce artisans hand-painted a moon battle scene featuring two stainless steel flying saucers suspended against a starry sky background created using spray-painting techniques.
The car retains its starlight headliner, but specifically above the front seat headrests, a system called "Pixel Blaster" has been added, comprising 80 pixelated warships created from hand-mounted pixels. The "shooting star" function has been reprogrammed to simulate laser beams firing through the cabin.
The door sills also display flickering effects with phrases like "Press Start", "Insert Coin", "Loading", or "Level Up", all reminiscent of classic video games. The dining tables positioned behind the front seats are also engraved with the "Cheeky Alien" image.
