Czech automaker Skoda has globally unveiled its new electric vehicle, the Peaq. This new model, larger than its Kodiaq sibling and boasting a range of up to 647 km on a full charge, is positioned to lead Skoda's expansion into the versatile electric SUV segment.
The Peaq adopts the "Modern Solid" design language, first seen on the Vision 7S concept. Its exterior features distinctive T-shaped light strips and a prominent glossy black grille. Technical highlights include a streamlined body with flush door handles, contributing to a drag coefficient of just 0,249.

The vehicle includes a panoramic sunroof with dynamic shade control technology, allowing transparency adjustment via a smartphone across 9 independent zones. Customers can choose between 19-inch or 21-inch wheels.
This new electric SUV measures 4.874 mm in length with a 2.965 mm wheelbase. Compared to its competitor, the Hyundai Ioniq 9, the Peaq is 185 mm shorter, and its wheelbase is 165 mm shorter. It offers a luggage capacity of 2.150 liters with the rear seats folded and a 37-liter front trunk.
The Peaq's interior features a minimalist design, highlighted by a digital instrument cluster and a 13,6-inch vertical Android infotainment touchscreen, a new feature for Skoda. The vehicle boasts a high, wide floating center console and a multi-layered dashboard. Most physical control buttons have been eliminated, with only dedicated function buttons remaining.
The three-row Peaq electric SUV offers 5 or 7-seat interior configurations. It comes equipped with a 16-speaker Sonos sound system and 25W Qi2 wireless phone charging. Additionally, an optional Relax package provides ergonomic front seats with leg rests, integrated cooling and massage functions, two headrests, and a small table in the center console.

The Czech automaker provides three powertrain options for the Peaq, all utilizing the MEB+ platform.
The standard 60 version features a 63 kWh NMC battery and a rear-mounted electric motor, delivering 201 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This variant offers a range of 459 km on a full charge. The battery supports 160 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10-80% charge in 27 minutes.
The mid-range 90 version is equipped with a 91 kWh battery pack and a more powerful electric motor, producing 282 hp and 545 Nm of torque. It supports 199 kW DC fast charging, achieving a 10-80% charge in 28 minutes.
The top-end 90x version also uses a 91 kWh battery, paired with two electric motors to deliver 295 hp and a range of 613 km.
Other notable features on the Peaq include one-pedal driving, bi-directional charging capability, and a towing capacity of 2.000 kg. This new electric model is also equipped with numerous advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Skoda plans to launch the Peaq first in Europe in late 2026, followed by other markets. Pricing details will be announced closer to the sales launch.
