The Slavia shares the MQB A0 IN platform with its sibling, the Kushaq. In Vietnam, the new Slavia is available in three versions: the Active at 468 million VND, the Ambition at 528 million VND, and the Style at 568 million VND.
The Skoda Slavia measures 4,541 mm in length, 1,752 mm in width, and 1,507 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,651 mm. These dimensions are comparable to other B-segment models like the Toyota Vios and Hyundai Accent.
The Slavia's design is simple with a masculine touch, typical of Skoda vehicles. The top-of-the-line version features LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and a sunroof. The two lower versions use halogen lights and do not have a sunroof.
The Slavia's interior features a characteristic Skoda design. Depending on the version, the car is equipped with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 3.5-inch TFT screen, or a 4.2-inch TFT screen. The infotainment system is either a 7-inch or 10-inch screen. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are supported. The sound system has either 4 or 8 speakers. The base model has manual air conditioning, while the two higher trims feature single-zone automatic climate control with Air Care air filtration.

All three versions are powered by a 1.0 turbocharged gasoline engine producing 113 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, with front-wheel drive. The car utilizes MacPherson front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension, with a manual handbrake.
Active safety features on the Slavia include blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning and emergency braking assist, and rear cross traffic alert. Other features include tire pressure monitoring, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and cruise control. Standard safety equipment includes ABS/EBD/BA brakes, hill start assist, electronic stability control, traction control, active cornering assist, electronic differential lock, and 6 airbags.
The Skoda Slavia is available in Vietnam this month. The company is also offering incentives for customers who purchase the car in September, such as covering 100% of the registration fee and providing a free first maintenance service at 7,500 km.

In Vietnam, the B-segment sedan market has consistently been one of the highest-selling segments due to its accessible price point, targeting first-time car buyers. Most of the best-selling models are assembled domestically. Among them, the Toyota Vios, Hyundai Accent, and Honda City are the three strongest sellers, respectively.
The Slavia's price range of 468-568 million VND is comparable to other models in the same segment, with a difference of only 10-20 million VND. Currently, there isn't much price differentiation in this segment, so competition primarily focuses on features and performance. While once highly favored, the B-segment sedan market now faces fierce competition from similarly priced SUVs.
In 2024, the Toyota Vios led the segment in sales with 14,210 units sold. Following closely behind were the Hyundai Accent with 13,538 units and the Honda City with 10,500 units.
