The Subaru Forester 2.0 iL EyeSight variant currently costs 869 million dong, which is 230 million dong lower than its listed price. For the iS EyeSight version, the customer price is 919 million dong, a 280 million dong reduction from its original price.
The quantity of these Thai-imported Forester models is limited. Dealers predict this batch of vehicles could be sold out in Q2.
The new generation Forester imported from Japan (priced at 1,299-1,399 billion dong) went on sale in late 2025. Subaru's factory in Thailand has ceased operations. Currently, all Subaru products sold in Vietnam are imported from Japan.

With prices ranging from 869-919 million dong, Subaru Forester variants equipped with the EyeSight safety system have become more accessible to users. However, compared to top-selling competitors in the C-segment cuv category such as the Mazda CX-5 (749-919 million dong) and Ford Territory (739-875 million dong), the Forester's price remains significantly higher.
Forester customers are typically individuals with a distinct personality and a special affinity for the Subaru brand. They appreciate the safety philosophy and the unique driving experience provided by the boxer engine and all-wheel drive (awd). For many owners, price is not the primary consideration when comparing the Forester with other options in its segment.
Due to its high price and a design and features that are less tailored to Vietnamese customers, Subaru Forester's sales figures are difficult to compare with domestically assembled Japanese, Korean, and American models. The company does not disclose Forester sales data but states it is the brand's flagship model in Vietnam.
The Thai-imported Subaru Forester is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine, producing 156 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 196 Nm at 4,000 rpm. It features a continuously variable transmission (cvt) with seven virtual gears and an all-wheel drive system.
