ASEAN NCAP confirmed that the tested vehicle was a 2025 production version, equipped with a 1,5-liter engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and six airbags. This configuration matches the GLX Plus version recently launched in Vietnam. A company representative stated, "The Fronx is the only crossover in its segment to achieve a 5-star ASEAN NCAP certification," defining this segment as SUVs under 4,300 mm in length with engine displacements up to 1,5 liters.
The vehicle demonstrated strong ability to absorb and disperse impact forces during frontal and side-impact tests, minimizing injury risk for both the driver and passengers. The Suzuki Fronx also performed well in the driver assistance technologies category.

For the Vietnamese market, all Fronx versions come standard with six airbags. Other safety technologies include: electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), seat belt reminder (SBR) for all positions, and ISOFIX child seat anchor points. The GLX Plus version further enhances safety with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) package, which features: dual sensor brake support (DSBS II), lane departure prevention (LDP), lane keep assist (LKA), a 360-degree camera, and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
Features such as blind spot monitoring (BSM) and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA) on the Fronx were highlighted by ASEAN NCAP for their contribution to motorcyclist safety. These features warn the driver, helping to prevent unexpected collisions, which is particularly crucial in Southeast Asia's mixed traffic environment where motorcycles account for about 80% of road traffic.
Fronx versions in Vietnam are imported from Indonesia, reflecting Suzuki's global philosophy. They promise agile performance and an enjoyable driving experience for users.
