The Land Cruiser Commercial is a special version in the Toyota Professional light commercial vehicle line, prioritizing cargo space over passenger capacity. Based on the Land Cruiser Prado (Series 250) platform, the vehicle has been modified to better suit cargo transportation needs.
Toyota's Burnaston manufacturing facility in Derbyshire, England, is responsible for this conversion. The process involves removing the rear seats of the standard Prado and installing steel plates and a metal partition with a mesh section above to separate the cargo area.

According to Toyota, the cargo area measures 1,090 mm high, 1,685 mm long, and a maximum of 1,286 mm wide, providing up to 2,000 liters of capacity. The towing capacity is up to 3.5 tons.
The Land Cruiser previously sold in Europe was also offered as a commercial vehicle, but the new version has significant equipment upgrades. Features include 18-inch alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the Toyota Safety Sense ADAS package.
The powertrain of the cargo version SUV remains unchanged. It retains the 2.8-liter diesel engine and full-time 4-wheel drive with selectable driving modes, including core off-road features.
The Land Cruiser Commercial will go on sale in the UK in August, with a starting price of GBP 52,729 (USD 70,600). The first deliveries are expected in September.
In mid-June, Toyota also launched the Land Cruiser 300 hybrid in the Middle East. The core of the new system is hybrid technology, combining a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with an electric motor. This pairing produces a combined output of 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Land Cruiser. These specifications are even on par with the Lexus LX700h. Power is transmitted to all 4 wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
