Car manufacturers continue to launch promotions and incentives, notably Toyota Vietnam with its best-selling models. This month, Toyota's most heavily discounted models are the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio, both 7-seater MPVs, which come with 100% registration fee support and a free year of comprehensive insurance.
This translates to a discount of 75 million dong for the Veloz Cross and nearly 70 million dong for the Avanza Premio. These two models are targeted towards families and passenger transport businesses.

For the Vios, the best-selling B-segment sedan, Toyota is offering a discount equivalent to 50% of the registration fee and a free year of comprehensive insurance. This translates to savings of about 35 million dong for buyers this month. SUVs like the Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross also receive 50% registration fee support, with the gasoline-powered Corolla Cross also receiving a free year of comprehensive insurance.
For financing, Toyota Financial Services Vietnam (TFSVN) is offering interest rates starting at 2.99% for all Toyota hybrid models. Gasoline-powered models like the Vios, Innova Cross, Corolla Cross, Yaris Cross, Veloz Cross, and Avanza Premio will have interest rates starting at 3.49%.

Amidst the green transportation trend, Toyota has pioneered the introduction of the most hybrid models in the market, with cumulative sales exceeding 18,000 units by the end of July. The company has launched its first incentive program for those trading in their used cars (regardless of make) at Toyota Sure certified pre-owned dealerships to purchase hybrid models like the Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, and Innova Cross.
With this program, buyers can choose one of three incentives: a free year of Toyota's Gold Package comprehensive insurance; a 1.99% interest rate for the first 6 months (6.99% for the next 6 months) or a 1.49% Balloon Package interest rate for the first 6 months (6.99% for the next 6 months); free maintenance parts for 3 years or 30,000 km and a window tint package. This program is valid until 30/9.

These incentives make car ownership more accessible. "For 500 million dong, you used to only be able to buy an A-segment SUV with a small trunk and a cramped interior, but now you can buy a more spacious Vios with a comfortable interior, low depreciation, and stable handling," said Vu Van Luong, a 2025 Vios owner, adding that the incentives saved him tens of millions of dong.
Since the beginning of the year, Toyota has seen steady growth among foreign car brands in Vietnam. The Japanese automaker led the market in sales for the first half of the year, reaching the cumulative sales milestone of 1 million vehicles in July, with 6,841 vehicles sold in July (including Lexus), an increase of 305 vehicles compared to the previous month. Currently, Toyota is the best-selling foreign car brand in the Vietnamese market.
