VinFast offers discounts of up to 100 million VND in 'trade-in your gas car for an electric vehicle' program

VinFast is offering discounts of up to 100 million VND for users who trade in their gasoline or diesel cars for the company's electric vehicles, starting 24/6.

A representative of the electric vehicle company stated that the incentive program applies to individual users or businesses who have owned a gasoline car for at least three months and will be the primary registered owner of the new VinFast electric vehicle. Users can sell their old gasoline car independently and bring proof of the completed transaction to a VinFast dealership to receive support when purchasing an electric vehicle.

In addition, VinFast dealerships will connect users with three used car businesses for appraisal and sales procedures. The program's minimum discount is 5 million VND for the VF 3, while the highest is 100 million VND for the VF 9. The VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 8 models receive support of 10, 15, 50, and 70 million VND, respectively. This amount will be directly deducted from the selling price.

According to VinFast, the "Trade-in Your Gas Car for an Electric Vehicle" program will run concurrently with other existing promotions: a 4% discount per vehicle, up to 70 million VND per vehicle if registered in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and free charging at V-Green stations nationwide until 30/6/2027.

In addition to cars, VinFast also applies this program to motorcycles. At events in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in June, the company reported thousands of gasoline motorcycles being traded in for electric ones. VinFast is currently continuing to roll out this program in other provinces and cities across the country.

"Trade-in Your Gas Car for an Electric Vehicle" is the latest promotion in the third iteration of the "Strong Vietnamese Spirit – For a Green Future" campaign, launched by VinFast on 22/5. This program supports users in switching to fully electric vehicles, creating a green transition effect in the community.
