Yadea incentivizes electric scooter adoption

Electric scooter manufacturer Yadea offers trade-in deals and discounts to encourage Vietnamese consumers to switch to electric vehicles.

Yadea recently launched its "Trade Gasoline for Electric – Build the Future with Yadea" program to support the transition to green transportation in Vietnam. This initiative comes as major Vietnamese cities are increasingly promoting sustainable transportation.

The program allows customers to trade in their old gasoline-powered or electric two-wheelers for a discount of 2 million VND on new Yadea electric scooters priced from 10 million VND. Additionally, from now until 10/9, participants can enter a lucky draw with a top prize of 5 million VND. Every participant is guaranteed a prize.

The sportier Yadea Velax targets young, dynamic riders. Equipped with a 2,000 W Hub Motor and a lithium battery, it has a maximum range of 80 km per charge. The company plans to soon introduce fast-charging technology to Vietnam, enabling an 80% charge in 20 minutes. In Vietnam, Yadea's brand ambassador is artist Soobin, and the company is a gold sponsor of the Gia Dinh Haha program.

"As a leading electric scooter brand with over 100 million units sold, Yadea is committed to supporting the Vietnamese government and its people in adopting green, intelligent, and safe mobility solutions," said Liu Jia. "These are Yadea's top priorities in Vietnam and globally."
