A&B shopping mall launches specialized shopping zone for tourists

A&B shopping mall has opened its Mega Sale - tourist zone shopping area, coinciding with the Khanh Hoa sea festival, offering visitors an integrated, multi-experience destination.

The launch event for the Mega Sale - tourist zone shopping area took place on the 3rd floor of A&B Shopping Mall Nha Trang on the two days of 18 and 19/7. Located on the bustling Tran Phu street and adjacent to major event venues in the city, the shopping mall leverages its prime location to connect visitors with its ecosystem of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

This zone brings together a range of highly complementary product categories, including fashion, souvenirs, local specialties, gifts, and utility services. The mall management stated that the new model was created to meet three core needs of tourists visiting Nha Trang: convenience, diversity, and an experience rich in local cultural identity.

Instead of traveling to multiple scattered locations, tourists can now find essential items within one integrated space. Souvenir shops, handicrafts, and specialty products serve as channels to promote Khanh Hoa culture. "This model clearly reflects the shift from traditional retail to commerce linked with destination discovery experiences," a representative of A&B Shopping Mall said.

To mark the launch of the new zone and in response to the Khanh Hoa sea festival, which ran from 17 to 19/7, the operator implemented the Summer Mega Sale program with many promotional activities. On the two opening days, the first 35 customers each day who completed check-in procedures at the event received gifts such as headphones, suitcases, or premium apparel. With a shopping bill of 500,000 VND or more, customers had the chance to participate in a lucky spin. Bills of 1 million VND or more allowed shoppers to both join the lucky draw and receive a limited-edition tote bag from the mall.

To enhance the visitor experience, the organizers designed a series of entertainment activities running from afternoon to evening on 18/7. The event included a photo opportunity with mascots for families, a carnival performance with a street festival vibe, and a vibrant outdoor music night. This combination of shopping and entertainment gives tourists more reasons to stay longer at the mall, while also clearly experiencing the festive atmosphere of Nha Trang.

Experts believe that developing specialized shopping areas targeting tourists is a suitable strategy as localities strive to increase visitor spending and extend their length of stay.

A representative of A&B Shopping Mall stated that the shopping area creates a stable outlet for OCOP products and local handicrafts, while also helping international visitors easily access quality products.

"The integrated model is gradually forming a new tourism touchpoint in Nha Trang, where local cultural images spread directly through vibrant economic activities," the A&B Shopping Mall representative said.
