At the award ceremony, Bitex Chairman Nguyen Xuan Dung stated that the recognition from the Ministry of Education and Training motivates the company to continue innovating and seeking more practical ways to support the education sector.

"Today's commendation is not the end of a journey, but rather an impetus for the company to move forward, offering more practical, profound, and long-term support to the education sector", Dung said.

Specifically, in the coming period, the company will continue to build upon its long-standing activities while listening to the needs of schools, teachers, students, and parents to develop programs that align with the evolving landscape of education.

Bitex also expects continued cooperation from the Ministry of Education and Training, provincial Departments of Education and Training, schools, teachers, and partners to jointly create valuable programs for learners.

Bitex was established in 1982. In 1993, the company became the distributor of Casio calculators in Vietnam, marking the beginning of its long-term commitment to the education sector. Today, the company owns and develops several educational product brands, including Bitex and Smartkids, and is the exclusive distributor of Pilot pens from Japan.

A significant milestone in the company's journey with the education sector is the National Mathematics Competition for Gifted Students Using Handheld Calculators. First held in TP HCM in 1995, the competition expanded to become an academic platform for students nationwide. By 2000, it was elevated to a national-level competition.

The competition provides a platform for students to test their skills in mathematics and natural sciences, fostering logical thinking, calculation abilities, and the application of technology in learning.

Notably, in 2024, at the 30-year anniversary celebration of the competition, the TP HCM Department of Education and Training and Bitex received a Vietnam Record for "The longest-running annual National Mathematics Competition for Gifted Students Using Handheld Calculators in Vietnam", counting from 1995.

From an academic playground, the competition has become part of the memory of many student generations. In 2026, the company continues to implement the program "Accompanying Mathematical Talent Milestones", seeking out students who participated in the competition and are now making new marks in their studies, research, and careers.

Beyond academic activities, the company believes that supporting education extends beyond a single competition or product, encompassing students, teachers, schools, and the wider community.

With over 30 years dedicated to education, Bitex has supported academic competitions, assisted students, honored teachers, aided schools, provided scholarships, and implemented community programs. A notable example is "Accompanying Teachers Through Hardship", running since 2019. This program has supported 55 teachers across more than 25 provinces and cities, with total funding of nearly one billion dong.

Additionally, the "Kids Draw Creatively with Bitex" program, launched in 2020, helps children express their imagination and creativity through painting.
