Ca Mau fertilizer receives commendation for social welfare contributions

With 5.07 billion dong (VND) in support for building 84 homes, Ca Mau Fertilizer received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee for its active contributions to the local housing support program.

The certificate of merit was awarded at the conference summarizing the completion of 1,069 homes for those facing housing difficulties in 2026. This achievement resulted from the collective efforts of various agencies, units, businesses, and the community across Ca Mau province.

The program targets poor households, near-poor households, and children of resistance fighters affected by chemical defoliants who still lack adequate housing. The completed homes address the need for stable residences, creating conditions for families to stabilize their lives and focus on their livelihoods.

According to PVCFC, the commendation acknowledges the company's contributions and serves as an encouragement to continue channeling resources into practical projects that meet the needs of local residents.

Alongside the housing program's summary, the conference also launched an emulation movement to collectively build concrete rural roads to 100% of hamlets and sub-hamlets across Ca Mau province for the 2026-2030 period. This initiative aligns with the areas the company already supports, including a rural traffic bridge construction program implemented this year.

In 2026, the company allocated over 14.27 billion dong for social welfare programs in Ca Mau province. These funds were distributed to support housing, provide Tet assistance for the poor, grant scholarships, build rural traffic bridges, and repair community facilities.

Over the past 15 years, Ca Mau Fertilizer has gradually established itself as one of Ca Mau province's and the Vietnamese fertilizer industry's key industrial enterprises. The company's production activities help ensure fertilizer supply, create jobs, contribute to the state budget, and promote related service and trade activities. From Vietnam's southernmost region, products bearing the Ca Mau brand are now present nationwide and are gradually expanding into international markets.

A company representative stated that PVCFC will continue to uphold its role as a key industrial enterprise, integrating its production and business activities with community responsibility, thereby making practical contributions to socio-economic development.
