During a working session on 26/6, Cao Bang provincial leaders presented their socioeconomic development orientation and the master plan for Tra Linh International Border Gate. The province holds a strategic position in the Northeast, sharing a long border with China and directly connecting to Baise city in Guangxi, as well as economic hubs in Western and Southwestern China. This offers a key advantage for expanding development, boosting trade, and integrating into regional supply chains.

Mr. Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, stated that the border gate area currently faces limitations in logistics infrastructure, warehousing, and import-export scale. However, the province has ample room for systematic spatial development, integrating with future expressways like Dong Dang - Tra Linh and Bac Kan - Cao Bang, and a border gate connection system. Beyond its border gate advantages, Cao Bang also possesses potential in agriculture, tourism, minerals, and border trade, laying the groundwork for developing supporting service, trade, and logistics chains.
According to the province's orientation, Tra Linh International Border Gate will be planned with a new approach, focusing on clarifying its distinct advantages, key product flows, market segments, and strategic investors. The province proposes establishing a smart customs area, cargo terminal areas, a dry port, processing and export processing zones, along with industrial, logistics, and service development spaces suited to the local terrain and connectivity capabilities.

The enterprise has implemented many large-scale projects nationwide and possesses experience in developing integrated economic ecosystems, connecting infrastructure, logistics, industry, trade, and services. These sectors align with Cao Bang province's development orientation for the Tra Linh border gate.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Thang An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council, stressed the province's need for rapid, sustainable growth. This requires new development models and investors with capabilities, experience, and vision, such as T&T Group. The province hopes to collaborate with capable, experienced investors who have a long-term vision to build a comprehensive border gate economic development model, creating growth momentum for the province and the wider region.

"Cao Bang wants pioneering investors to accompany the province, creating new value. This isn't just about pursuing a specific project or investing in a particular task, but about forming a distinct border economic ecosystem and border gateway," Mr. Phan Thang An stated.
As proposed by the province, both sides will continue to explore cooperation opportunities in refining the master plan, surveying the Chinese market, promoting trade, and considering the establishment of a joint working group to evaluate and implement feasible projects in the coming period.
