Tran Van Phan, General Director of Cenvi, stated that small businesses and business households often struggle with a lack of accounting, tax, and legal knowledge during establishment and operation. This deficiency can lead to errors in declarations, invoice issuance, fulfilling tax obligations, or managing temporary operational suspensions.
"Through interacting with over 1,000 clients from late 2023 to early 2024, most business owners possess good expertise in their business fields but lack comprehensive knowledge of accounting and tax," Phan shared.

In reality, seemingly minor errors can incur significant costs for businesses. Cenvi reported a case where a business with revenue of approximately 100 billion dong had its tax code locked due to incomplete procedures related to its business location. Another e-commerce client, with revenue of about 50 billion dong over three years, had not fully declared its tax obligations, resulting in over one billion dong in taxes and penalties.
According to Phan, Cenvi subsequently reviewed these cases, provided additional procedural guidance, and took actions in accordance with regulations to rectify the errors.
Based on these realities, Cenvi developed support services tailored to the operational lifecycle of SMEs and business households. During the startup phase, clients receive advice on selecting business types, charter capital, and registered business sectors. During operation, Cenvi assists with tax declarations, invoices, intellectual property, and related legal procedures.
For businesses facing difficulties or no longer wishing to continue operations, Cenvi advises on options for temporary suspension or dissolution to limit the accumulation of tax debts and prolonged financial obligations.
Cenvi also assists businesses with errors from many years prior that need their records reviewed. According to Phan, these cases typically require more processing time as they involve re-examining accounting records, documents, and tax obligations for each period.

To mitigate risks during service delivery, Cenvi organizes each client file with multiple layers of control. Currently, 3-4 personnel may handle a single client, with two rounds of checks before declarations or procedures are finalized.
Given that service quality heavily relies on personnel expertise, Cenvi dedicates resources to training its accounting, tax, and legal teams. In some years, training costs have been approximately 300-400 million dong. Cenvi also increases the number of experienced personnel to reduce reliance on any single individual during client file processing.
In parallel with its consulting services, Cenvi implements training programs and conversion support for business households. Recently, Cenvi collaborated with Techcombank to conduct a program at over 20 transaction points in Hanoi for about 20 days, focusing on guiding legal procedures, tax declarations, and online consultations.
According to Cenvi, the program assisted nearly 1,000 individual business owners in completing the conversion procedures to business households. The company plans to continue implementing free training programs in various localities in the near future.

In addition to Techcombank, Cenvi is collaborating with several technology, telecommunications, and software companies such as Viettel, VNPT, and Misa in activities supporting digital transformation, legal, and tax matters for SMEs and business households.
According to Phan, the current pressure on consulting firms stems from rapid changes in tax policies, invoices, and business household management. Each client's obligations depend on their industry, revenue scale, and operational model.
Therefore, Cenvi is increasing investment in its operational control systems, regulatory updates, and advisory team to minimize errors during the consulting process.
In the long term, Cenvi aims to expand its support activities to SMEs and business households nationwide, focusing on accounting, tax, legal, and business model transformation needs.
