On the afternoon of 5/10, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung met with Cris Turner, Google's Global Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy.
During the meeting, Turner expressed Google's interest in exploring effective cooperation methods to deliver tangible benefits to the Vietnamese people, particularly in artificial intelligence. He also discussed Vietnam's potential, shared international experience, and proposed avenues for collaboration to boost economic, trade, and investment ties between Vietnam and the US.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung stated that Vietnam views science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key drivers for growth. The country's market size, demographic structure, and a dynamic technology business community position Vietnam to become a regional hub for technology development and application.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Vietnam seeks cooperative relationships that integrate investment with research, development, technology transfer, and high-quality human resource training. The goal is to enhance the capabilities of domestic enterprises and foster the development of globally valued products.
He expressed hope that Google would continue to support Vietnam's digital ecosystem, enabling "Make in Vietnam" products and solutions to reach international markets. Vietnam also welcomes American investors, particularly in science, technology, and digital transformation.
