VinFast received two awards at the event: "Vietnamese Brand with Global Reach" and "Proud Vietnamese Brand of the Year". The organizers stated that these awards reflect the opinions of experts, the judging panel, and consumers, acknowledging the Vietnamese automaker's multi-year journey into international markets.

In addition to VinFast, the electric taxi company Green SM was also honored at the event, receiving awards for "Brand Trusted by Vietnamese People" and "Proud Vietnamese Brand of the Year". Green SM has recently captured a leading domestic market share, expanded operations to 8 countries, and helped establish a presence for VinFast vehicle lines in numerous international markets.
According to GSM's announcement, as of August, Green SM had facilitated approximately 850 million green rides, covering a total distance of about 6 billion km globally using VinFast electric vehicles. This effort contributed to reducing over 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

In the automotive awards category, VinFast secured four accolades: New All-Electric Vehicle of the Year for the new generation VF 8; Gen Z's Vehicle of the Year for the VF 3; Passenger Service Vehicle of the Year for Limo Green; and a spot in the Top 5 Automotive Industry Events of the Year for its nationwide "Switch from Gasoline to Electric" event series.
A company representative stated that VinFast's diverse product range caters to the needs of various user groups, ranging from premium family vehicles and personal cars to commercial passenger transport.
The company notably organized the "Switch from Gasoline to Electric - VinFast Creates a Green Future Together" event series across 34 provinces and cities nationwide. This initiative provided people with opportunities to access and own electric cars and motorcycles, promoting the trend of transport electrification in Vietnam.

The Better Choice Awards are jointly organized by VCCorp, the National Innovation Center (NIC), and the Department of Innovation (SATI). This year marks the 4th season of these awards.
