Dh Foods becomes national brand

Dh Foods marks 14 years of development with the 2026 national brand title, attributed to its increasingly refined production system and expanded product portfolio.

Established in 2012, Dh Foods launched with three lines of regional specialty spices, offering 15 products such as Nha Trang Chili Salt with Lemon, Tay Ninh Shrimp Salt, and Phu Quoc Ground Black Pepper. The company now boasts 7 product lines and 127 stock-keeping units (SKUs), selling over 1,7 million products each month. Its products are available at more than 11,000 retail locations, including supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide, and are exported to over 15 countries and territories.

Recently, Dh Foods earned recognition as a Vietnam National Brand 2026. Furthermore, its factory is slated to receive the BRCGS A+ international food safety certification in 11/2026, signifying a major advancement in production capacity and quality control. This top-tier rating is awarded to facilities that attain an A grade in unannounced audits, underscoring the necessity for continuous quality control.

For Dh Foods, the Vietnam National Brand title acknowledges the company's brand development, product diversification, and investment in production.

"From day one, we have been proud of Vietnamese spices and have persistently brought their flavors to many developed countries. The National Brand is a fitting recognition for the efforts of our entire team", Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Dh Foods, shared.

A significant change for the company was its 2025 rebranding strategy, transitioning from regional specialty spices to "clean" spices. Beyond its traditional offerings, Dh Foods expanded into dipping sauces, salad dressings, cooking marinades, and complete seasoning blends, catering to consumer demand for quick, convenient meal preparation.

The company also refreshed its packaging and developed product lines aimed at younger customers. Following the rebranding, several new sauce products entered the company's top 10 best-selling SKUs. Notably, Thai Lemongrass Kumquat Sauce became a flagship product just one year after its introduction.

In parallel with product development, Dh Foods shifted from relying on contract manufacturers to operating its own factory, enhancing control over quality and supply chain capabilities. The company adopted BRCGS, an international food safety standard, as the guiding principle for its production system development. Building on this foundation, Dh Foods plans to invest in three additional BRCGS-compliant factories. The company considers upgrading its production system, meeting food safety requirements, and obtaining Halal JAKIM certification crucial for expanding its export markets.

Concurrently with production investment, Dh Foods' workforce has expanded 20-fold since its inception. The company prioritizes fostering an environment that encourages idea experimentation, product development, and continuous improvement in business operations. According to a company representative, a spirit of innovation has been maintained since the early days, encouraging employees to proactively experiment and embrace mistakes to find effective solutions. This approach has enabled Dh Foods to continuously introduce new products and adapt to market shifts.

Looking ahead, the brand will develop products for dipping, mixing, and marinating, including mixed rice sauce, chili paste, and salad dressings. By the end of 2026, the company plans to refresh the packaging for three core lines: Tay Ninh dipping salt, natural spices, and cooking marinades.
