Covering 224 hectares in Thoi Hoa ward, north of TP HCM, Ecolakes My Phuoc was planned to follow existing waterways, depressions, and vegetation, rather than through extensive landfilling. According to the developer, this approach integrates natural elements into the urban structure from the planning phase, rather than merely serving as landscape features.
The project dedicates nearly 43 hectares to parks and green spaces. These green areas connect residential zones, amenities, community spaces, and pedestrian paths, while also being interspersed with internal lakes and waterways. The water system contributes to the landscape, regulates water, improves microclimates, and supports local ecosystems.

Beyond the master plan, environmental elements are integrated into building design. Homes are oriented along a north-south axis to minimize western sun exposure, incorporating natural ventilation solutions, maximizing daylight, and using solar control glass. These solutions aim to enhance living comfort while reducing cooling demands during use.
The project also focuses on increasing green areas, limiting hard surfaces, and considering environmental criteria in material selection. Solutions like solar power, solar water heaters, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and smart home technology are incorporated into the development strategy to promote efficient energy use in daily life.
Alongside ecological considerations, Ecolakes My Phuoc develops a system of amenities for education, commerce, healthcare, sports, entertainment, and community activities. Parks, open spaces, and pedestrian networks are integrated throughout the project to foster connections among residents and encourage outdoor activities.
According to SetiaBecamex, the project is developed based on the "live - learn - work - play" philosophy, aiming for an integrated living environment that caters to residents' needs for living, learning, working, and enjoying life. The company also implements community-focused activities, such as awarding scholarships to disadvantaged students and supporting social welfare programs and community development in the area.
