Saigon - Hanoi Securities (SHS), where Do Quang Vinh serves as chairman of the board, announced this information on 24/9. SHS stated that Vinh ceased to be a member of Vietravel Airlines' board of directors as of 18/8. He also holds no shares in the airline.

Vinh joined Vietravel Airlines' board of directors in April 2025, concurrently with his younger brother Do Vinh Quang becoming chairman of Vietravel Airlines. At that time, Vietravel Airlines restructured its senior management after T&T Group's related companies became strategic shareholders in the airline.

Born in 1989, in addition to his leadership role at SHS, Do Quang Vinh is also vice chairman of the board and deputy general director of Saigon - Hanoi Bank (SHB). He earned a master's degree in finance and management from the University of East Anglia (UK) and joined SHB in 2011.

Following T&T's involvement, Vietravel Airlines has gradually expanded its operations. On 21/9, the airline received an additional A321 aircraft, increasing its fleet to five planes.

Previously, Vietravel Airlines also signed a letter of agreement to purchase 50 aircraft from Airbus Group, with deliveries expected to begin in 2029. Specifically, the T&T Group airline will acquire 20 A220s and 30 A321s (including A321neo and A321XLR versions).

Currently, Vietravel Airlines operates a domestic network connecting major cities and maintains regular international routes to Bangkok (Thailand) and Shenzhen (China). The airline plans to add more aircraft by year-end to increase its operations to approximately 80-90 flights daily.
