BYD NEG delivers 30 dolphin vehicles to Vinasun

Vinasun adds 30 dolphin electric vehicles from BYD NEG to diversify its fleet for users on 17/9.

The 30 new BYD dolphin electric vehicles for Vinasun Taxi were supplied by BYD NEG, BYD's distributor and retailer in Vietnam. This is part of Vinasun's plan to diversify its fleet serving the market. Previously, about 200 of the taxi company's drivers had received training in electric vehicle operation and technical handling.

The handover ceremony included leaders from both companies and the team of drivers. Following the key handover, the BYD NEG team guided drivers on vehicle features and important operational considerations before operation.

Preparatory activities for the operating team preceded the vehicle handover. In late August, BYD NEG, in collaboration with Vinasun, organized a training program on electric vehicle operation and technical handling for about 200 drivers. This training focused on: charging methods, energy management, operational characteristics, safety technology, and addressing common technical issues.

Nguyen Van Mac, Deputy General Director of Vinasun Taxi's Vehicle Operations, stated that deploying the 30 BYD dolphin vehicles is a significant step in the company's green transformation journey. "This enhances operational efficiency and offers passengers a more modern travel experience," he added.

Given continuous operation, taxi fleets must meet requirements for stability, operating costs, maintenance, and service time. Integrating the BYD dolphin into the fleet gives Vinasun more vehicle options for its operations, gradually introducing new energy vehicles into its business.

BYD NEG also committed to supporting Vinasun throughout operation, from user guidance and technical training to after-sales maintenance. Nguyen Ngoc Ngan, General Director of BYD NEG Vietnam, stated that the vehicle handover is just the beginning; throughout operation, BYD NEG pledges to support Vinasun with user guidance, technical training, maintenance, and after-sales assistance. "Our goal is to help the fleet operate safely, stably, and achieve economic efficiency during its use," he said.

The collaboration between BYD NEG and Vinasun is integrating vehicles with practical operations. The deployment of 30 BYD dolphin vehicles marks a step forward in green transformation for passenger transport. This is BYD NEG's next step in supporting transport companies in their green vehicle transition.
