This information is detailed in Elmich's 2025 ESG sustainability development report, prepared according to GRI 2021 standards. The report covers the period from 1/1-31/12/2024.
A highlight of the report is the rooftop solar power system at the Elmich factory, which currently supplies about 50% of the electricity needed for production. The company recorded a reduction of over 1,300 tons of CO2 by transitioning to renewable energy sources. This system is considered a long-term solution that optimizes costs and reduces reliance on fossil fuels.

Elmich also reported that its waste recycling rate has reached 64%, with a target to increase it to 90% by 2030. The company upgraded its exhaust gas treatment area and replaced its dust extraction and wastewater control systems to comply with regulations. Regarding materials, Elmich is transitioning product packaging to paper and biodegradable materials to reduce plastic waste in the supply chain.
Alongside environmental considerations, the company has improved working conditions and provided skills training for employees, focusing on sustainable practices. Internal programs prioritize occupational safety, risk assessment, and enhancing team capabilities amidst increasing automation.
Le Quoc Vuong, Director of the Elmich factory in Vietnam, stated that the company scrutinizes every figure in production, from each kWh of electricity to the use of packaging and auxiliary materials. "When data is clear enough, investment decisions in renewable energy, green packaging, or circular solutions are no longer questions of 'should we or shouldn't we,' but rather long-term efficiency problems for future sustainable development", Vuong affirmed.

From a social perspective, Elmich launched the "Green School" campaign, collaborating with the Ministry of Education and Training to integrate energy saving, waste sorting, and environmental protection into student curricula. This initiative expands Elmich's ESG impact into the community and promotes green habits starting from schools.
A company representative stated that publishing the ESG report, adhering to GRI 2021 standards, demonstrates a commitment to transparent development and alignment with international benchmarks.
Pham Thu Hien, General Director of Elmich Vietnam, emphasized that ESG is how the company fulfills its responsibility to act, delivering European-standard products that are safe for health and create positive value for the environment, employees, and the community. "The ESG report is a transparent commitment that every step of Elmich's green transformation is measured, verified, and improved to bring sustainable benefits to society", Hien said.
According to Elmich, building the report to GRI 2021 standards establishes a foundation for export activities and international cooperation, especially as global partners increasingly demand transparency in environmental and social data. Elmich's factory in Vietnam is developed according to international production standards, aiming for deeper participation in global supply chains.
The unit also asserted that ESG is a competitive advantage when expanding into new markets, particularly for consumer goods with high requirements regarding origin, materials, and environmental impact. Elmich aims to maintain annual reporting, refine its data systems, and increase the proportion of green operations in the coming period.
