According to Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Education and Training, 99,578 students have registered for this year's high school graduation exam in the city, an increase of 8,891 students compared to last year. The city has arranged 171 exam sites with a total of 4,242 exam rooms. Specifically, 168 sites with 4,180 rooms are for students following the 2018 curriculum, and three sites with 62 rooms are for students following the 2006 curriculum. Each site has three backup rooms to handle any unforeseen circumstances.
Before the exam, EVNHCMC issued a directive instructing its affiliated units to coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Education and Training to ensure a stable and safe power supply for the exam. The company assigned regional power companies and related units to inspect and maintain the entire medium- and low-voltage power grid and transformer stations at the exam locations. Numerous power supply plans have been meticulously prepared, ready for stable, safe, and continuous operation throughout the exam period.

The power companies will station at least two technical staff members in areas with exam locations, ensuring they are ready to quickly address any incidents. Leadership and management staff will be on duty continuously at the units throughout the exam period to provide timely direction and coordination support. EVNHCMC has also allocated backup generators at exam printing and grading centers, utilizing generators under the power sector's management.

A delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training, led by Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong, met with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee (UBND) to discuss preparations for the 2025 high school graduation exam.
At the meeting, Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Education and Training, stated that one of the strengths of the city's exam preparation is the synchronized and effective coordination among departments and agencies. This coordination is evident in the active participation of Ho Chi Minh City’s police in ensuring absolute security and confidentiality from exam printing to administration and grading. The Department of Health has prepared healthcare plans and procedures for handling medical situations. The Power Corporation has committed to ensuring a stable 24/7 power supply with backup generators. The Departments of Construction, Science and Technology, Food Safety, and the Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City all have specific and comprehensive support plans in place.
