This dry season in the Mekong Delta is predicted to be severe, with prolonged heatwaves and increasing salinity intrusion. The demand for clean water has become a pressing issue for many households, especially in coastal areas and regions directly affected by drought and salinity.
According to a representative of the organizing committee, most of the supported households live near the An Hiep landfill area and have faced prolonged clean water shortages. The water tanks help meet residents' essential needs, reducing daily living pressures for many local families.
Dang Thi Yen, 66, stated that her family of 11 members primarily relies on one old cement reservoir, which is often insufficient. On days with water shortages, daily activities like washing vegetables, bathing, and laundry must be carefully planned and conserved. The additional 500-liter water tank has eased her family's burden.
Beyond Yen's family, many local households reported this was their first time receiving large-capacity water storage equipment. This allows them to be more proactive in daily life and reduces their reliance on expensive purchased water.

According to FE Credit, from 2024 to early 2026, the company collaborated with various units to donate hundreds of water tanks, totaling nearly VND 500 million, to residents in the Mekong Delta. This initiative continues their "Standing Together for the Community, Realizing Dreams" program.
Beyond drought and salinity response efforts, FE Credit has maintained many community programs over the past 15 years, including: supporting workers during Tet (Lunar New Year), organizing reunion bus trips, awarding scholarships to students in disadvantaged areas, conducting blood donation drives, building libraries, providing medical assistance, and collaborating with the press to assist residents after natural disasters.

In 2025, when storms and floods affected many northern and central provinces, the company implemented financial solutions such as interest rate reductions of up to 50% and preferential loan packages for repairs and purchasing livelihoods. According to FE Credit, these supports not only alleviate immediate financial pressure but also help residents gradually stabilize their lives after the events.
Behind these support programs is the persistent dedication of FE Credit's local staff. They visit each residential area, meet with residents to listen to needs, provide advice, and assist with completing procedures. This ensures support policies reach the right beneficiaries and are effective when most needed.
"We aim to provide customers with fast, easy, and reliable financial solutions, working hand-in-hand with people to improve their quality of life, and helping workers better adapt to life's changes, thereby realizing their unfinished dreams," a FE Credit representative shared.
In the coming time, the company will continue to implement practical programs to support sustainable community development.
