Tran Chi Vi, general director of Foton China in Vietnam, emphasized this point at the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (Vilog 2026), held in Ho Chi Minh City from 30/7 to 1/8. He explained that Vietnam is not only a high-potential market for commercial vehicles but also plays a crucial role in Foton's development strategy in Southeast Asia.
"Vietnam serves as our proving ground, where we validate and refine our model of 'products coupled with customized services for each customer segment'. The experiences and models developed here will form the basis for Foton's expansion into other markets, such as Indonesia and Thailand," stated Tran Chi Vi. To realize this strategy, the company is intensifying its cooperation with Automotive Distribution and Commercial Vehicle Joint Stock Company (ADCV).
