Ron 95-III gasoline, a common type in the market, saw a 30 VND reduction, bringing its price to 20,540 VND per liter. E5 Ron 92 also decreased by 40 VND, with the new price set at 19,800 VND.
Similarly, diesel and mazut prices fell by 40-340 VND compared to last week, reaching 19,820 VND per liter and 13,730 VND per kilogram, respectively. Kerosene, however, increased by 350 VND per liter, now priced at 20,280 VND.

Looking ahead, a circular from the Ministry of Industry and Trade outlines plans for E10 gasoline, a biofuel blended with 10% ethanol into mineral gasoline, to be widely available nationwide from 1/6/2026. E5 Ron 92 gasoline will continue to be in use until the end of 2030.
Additionally, while the blending of bio-diesel B5 and B10 for diesel engines is not yet mandatory, the Ministry of Industry and Trade encourages organizations and individuals to engage in the production and trade of these bio-diesel products.
Regarding environmental protection taxes, a resolution from the National Assembly Standing Committee states that in 2026, the tax on gasoline (excluding ethanol) will remain at 2,000 VND per liter. Diesel, mazut, and lubricants will be taxed at 1,000 VND per liter. Grease will be 1,000 VND per kilogram, and kerosene 600 VND per liter. These rates are consistent with those applied in 2025.
