The price of RON 95-III gasoline, a popular type in the market, decreased by 540 dong to 20,000 dong per liter. E5 RON 92 also dropped by 520 dong, setting its new price at 19,280 dong.
Similarly, diesel and kerosene prices decreased compared to seven days ago, reaching 18,800 dong and 19,470 dong per liter, respectively. Mazut oil also fell by 250 dong per kilogram from the previous period, now priced at 13,480 dong.

E10 gasoline, a biofuel blended with 10% ethanol into mineral gasoline, will be widely distributed and sold nationwide from 1/6/2026. E5 RON 92 gasoline will continue to be used until the end of 2030.
According to a resolution from the National Assembly Standing Committee, in 2026, the environmental protection tax for gasoline (excluding ethanol) will remain at 2,000 dong per liter. For diesel, mazut, and lubricating oil, the tax will be 1,000 dong per liter. Lubricating grease will be taxed at 1,000 dong per kilogram, and kerosene at 600 dong per liter. These rates are similar to those applied in 2025.
