RON 95-III gasoline, a common type, increased by 460 dong, reaching 20.460 dong per liter. E5 RON 92 also rose by 540 dong, with a new price of 19.820 dong.
Conversely, oil products uniformly decreased by 50-580 dong per liter or kilogram compared to last week. Specifically, diesel is now 18.380 dong per liter, and kerosene is 18.890 dong per liter. Mazut oil is 50 dong lower per kilogram than the previous period, now 13.430 dong.

Looking ahead, E10 gasoline, a biofuel blended with 10% ethanol into mineral gasoline, will be widely distributed and sold nationwide from 1/6/2026. E5 RON92 gasoline will continue to be used until the end of 2030.
Regarding taxation, a resolution from the National Assembly Standing Committee states that in 2026, the environmental protection tax for gasoline (excluding ethanol) will remain at 2.000 dong per liter. For diesel, mazut, and lubricating oil, it will be 1.000 dong per liter. Lubricating grease will be 1.000 dong per kilogram, and kerosene 600 dong per liter. These rates are similar to those applied in 2025.
