Gelex ascends in Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking

Fortune magazine recently unveiled its list of the 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia, with Gelex Group marking its third consecutive year of advancement, driven by record-breaking business performance.

Gelex Group has achieved a significant milestone, climbing to the 208th position in the latest Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking. This marks the third consecutive year the group has advanced, moving up 9 spots from the previous year and 23 positions since its debut on the list in 2023. This ascent is attributed to Gelex's strong growth momentum, culminating in a record-breaking financial year in 2025. The group reported a consolidated revenue of 39,513 billion VND and a pre-tax profit of 4,621 billion VND, the highest in its operational history.

Gelex continues to be listed among Fortune's top 500 largest businesses in Southeast Asia.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking highlights leading companies from seven economies across the region, based on their revenue from the most recent fiscal year. This year's list features 72 Vietnamese enterprises, reflecting the growing scale and prominence of domestic businesses within the regional economy.

This solid business performance creates momentum for Gelex to enter a new development phase, aligning with macroeconomic trends. Gelex's leadership notes that industrialization and the global supply chain shift to Vietnam fuel investment demand. The market presents opportunities in sectors like power systems, transmission infrastructure, and high-tech manufacturing. A company representative stated, "This environment opens avenues for member companies within the Gelex ecosystem to enhance product value and expand market share."

To fully capitalize on market potential, Gelex plans to strategically invest resources in foundational economic sectors during the 2026-2030 period. This strategy aims to reinforce the group's position in its core businesses, striving for sustainable growth and improved long-term competitiveness.
