Plain gold rings saw the same increase as gold bars. SJC quoted this type of gold at 150,3 - 153,3 million VND per tael.
PNJ and Doji traded 700,000 VND higher per buying and selling side compared to SJC, at 151 - 154 million VND. Bao Tin Minh Chau, meanwhile, quoted plain gold rings at 152,2 - 155,2 million VND.
Domestic gold prices moved in tandem with international prices. This morning, spot gold increased by over 17 USD, reaching 4,320 USD per ounce. Converted at Vietcombank's exchange rate, world gold is equivalent to 137,5 million VND, nearly 20 million VND lower than domestic prices.
