Tran Thi Lam currently holds over 239,700 VBB shares of Vietbank, equivalent to 0.02% of the bank's charter capital. If the transaction is completed, her ownership stake in the bank will increase to 1.88%.
The transaction is expected to take place from 22/7 to 20/8 through negotiated and order-matching methods on the exchange.
Tran Thi Lam is the chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group and was one of the first shareholders to contribute capital to establish Vietbank in 2006. In early 2024, she resigned from her position as deputy general director of Vietbank due to personal reasons.

Currently, Duong Nhat Nguyen, Tran Thi Lam's son, serves as the chairman of Vietbank's Board of Directors, a role he was appointed to in April 2021. Nguyen holds over 56.8 million VBB shares, representing 4.8% of the bank's charter capital.
On 14/7, over 1.08 billion VBB shares of Vietbank officially began trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) with a reference price of VND 13,300 per share.
After its three initial trading sessions, VBB shares performed positively despite a general market downturn. On 17/7, VBB traded around VND 14,450 per share, an increase of over 11% compared to its reference price on the debut day.
