Hong Kong Air Cargo (HKAC) has added an Airbus A330-200 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft to its fleet, part of a plan to expand its cargo capacity.
The A330-200P2F was delivered on 8/1, bringing HKAC's total A330-200 freighter fleet to 6 aircraft. The other 5 aircraft are original A330-200F models, all dry-leased from parent company Hong Kong Airlines.

The expanded fleet will support the airline's strategy to develop its route network and optimize operational frequency. Additionally, HKAC currently operates an Airbus A330-300P2F, converted by EFW, which is leased under an ACMI agreement.
"The addition of this sixth aircraft enhances our flexibility and reliability in serving customers, while continuing to provide stable cargo transport solutions across our entire network," said Tony Ma, Chairman of Hong Kong Air Cargo. "As we expand capacity, we will continue to optimize our network, strengthen high-frequency routes, and extend our freighter fleet's footprint across multiple continents."
Looking ahead, HKAC stated it will continue to seek growth opportunities, focusing on key markets and developing long-haul routes.
Recently, the airline also announced the launch of a regular freighter route between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Queen Alia Airport (Amman) in Jordan.
This month, HKAC resumed flights to Singapore and added Chennai to its regular operational network.
