According to a bank representative, this personalized goal-setting mechanism helps users proactively control their spending while creating additional motivation to use their cards during the peak season.
Another new feature is near real-time cashback, applied almost instantly upon completing a transaction. Instead of waiting 30-40 days for transaction reconciliation, VPBank cardholders can receive cashback within approximately 10-15 minutes. This solution was launched in February, offering cashback of up to 500,000 VND at GS25 stores and domestic and international duty-free shops.
"Shortening the cashback time helps customers quickly see the benefits after each transaction, while increasing transparency and budget management efficiency, especially during the year-end peak consumption period," a bank representative stated.
Through the simultaneous development of its offer ecosystem and technology, VPBank maintains its leading market position in individual credit card spending volume. In the first six months of 2025, total card spending reached over 90,000 billion VND, accounting for nearly 20% of the entire market; the number of credit cards in circulation exceeded 1,7 million.
