Vietlott awarded the prize to Bui Van Manh at its Hanoi headquarters. He won Jackpot 1 from the drawing on 26/5, worth over 83 billion VND.
Manh stated he purchased the winning ticket via a self-select machine. Born in 1981, he lives in Quarter 7, Chanh Phu Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly part of Binh Duong province).
He discovered his win while cleaning his house with his wife. His wife accompanied him to the prize ceremony. Manh said he decided to reveal his identity because he had always wanted to accept a prize without a mask if he ever won.
