The "Da Nang Food Tour 2026" festival is taking place from 20 to 24/5 in Da Nang. Held at East Sea Park and various locations city-wide, the event features a range of activities designed to explore local culture through food, music, and community engagements.
On its opening day, the "Culinary Essence of Quang Land" zone drew many locals and tourists with numerous specialties from Da Nang and Central Vietnam. The festival atmosphere was vibrant from afternoon until evening, featuring culinary experiences, music, and community interaction along the beachfront.
The opening highlight for the festival series was the "Ganh vi Da Nang" (Da Nang Flavors on Shoulder Poles) parade along the coastal route. Pairs of shoulder poles, laden with colorful local specialties, and lively mascots transformed the Da Nang beach area into a vibrant outdoor experience, contributing to the festive atmosphere on the very first day.

As a partner of the event, Larue set up a beer experience zone, combining local specialties with the lively early summer beach festival atmosphere. This space, themed "Larue - Proud of Da Nang's Culinary Culture," also became a festival highlight. Images of Dragon Bridge, Hoi An ancient houses, and Larue beer's more than one-century journey of origin and connection with the city were vividly recreated, offering a closer look at Da Nang's life and culture. Here, participants could enjoy Larue beer alongside local specialties available at the festival.
Ms. Tieu Thi Tham from Hanoi, a tourist attending the festival, expressed her surprise at the vibrant and colorful atmosphere. From local dishes to the beachfront setting, everything evoked the distinctive image of Da Nang for her and her family. Ms. Tham particularly enjoyed Larue's experience zone, where she could savor Central Vietnamese specialties and meet friends in a relaxed setting.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bui Minh Trung from Da Nang stated that he had followed information about the festival early and planned to meet some friends to enjoy the festive atmosphere. According to him, what made an impression was not only the food or music but also the spirit of community connection.

Additionally, the bai choi (a traditional folk game combining singing and card playing) community performance at the Larue booth attracted significant interest from locals and tourists. Many visitors experienced this folk art form for the first time, directly interacting with local artisans. The bai choi activity not only recreated a familiar cultural aspect of Central Vietnam but also contributed to spreading a spirit of community through music and interactive activities.
