MB representatives announced that following the implementation of electronic notarization and Hanoi's acceptance of electronic notarization applications for administrative procedures, the bank partnered with notary offices and the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center to introduce it for asset mortgage operations.
On 16/4, MB successfully executed its first electronic notarization transaction for a mortgage contract, serving loan customers. This initiative garnered positive feedback for its convenience, transparency, and time-saving benefits.
Following this, MB further completed full-process electronic notarization transactions, integrated with digital security interest registration, in both Hanoi and TP HCM. This significantly reduced waiting times and travel costs.

Beyond in-person electronic notarization, MB also introduced online electronic notarization transactions connecting Hanoi and TP HCM. The bank stated that this approach eliminates geographical barriers, saving all travel costs and time compared to traditional methods. It also streamlines transaction processes, enhances transparency, ensures legal security, and empowers customers with greater control.

MB representatives noted that the implementation process benefited from significant support from state agencies, including legal guidance, coordination, standardized forms, and technological solutions.
"MB will continue to adhere to directives from the State Bank of Vietnam, the Department of Justice, and local public administration service centers," an MB representative stated. "This will allow us to expand electronic notarization for asset mortgage operations throughout our system and extend it to other services to better serve our customers."
MB stands as a leader in banking technology. Over several years, the bank has vigorously pursued digital transformation, consistently placing customers at the core of all operations, from product and service design to implementation.
Previously, the bank implemented automated, paperless credit granting processes, reducing counter transactions and waiting times. However, for real estate collateral, security interest registration traditionally required in-person completion. Digitizing these two steps further minimizes physical interactions within the credit granting process, thereby enhancing customer experience through comprehensive digitalization, transparency, security, and efficiency.
