MSB partners with VETC to offer nationwide roadside assistance package to customers

MSB allows customers to directly link their payment accounts with VETC and ePass traffic accounts, facilitating convenient toll payments, especially during peak travel periods at year-end.

Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) announced the completion of its technology infrastructure connection with VETC Digital Traffic Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Digital Traffic Joint Stock Company (ePass). This integration enables car owners to easily convert and manage their traffic accounts as required by regulations.

By linking their VETC or ePass account with an MSB account, customers can top up their traffic accounts online directly through the respective applications. They can also monitor and review transaction history on their phones. The bank stated that transactions are secured with multiple layers of protection, incorporating electronic know-your-customer (eKYC) technology to ensure safety when using digital services.

Alongside this connection, the bank is launching a "nationwide roadside assistance package" for customers who link their MSB payment account with a VETC account for the first time. Customers who successfully deposit a minimum of 300,000 VND from their MSB account into VETC will receive one year of VETC's nationwide roadside assistance package. This offer is valid for 12 months, with no limit on the number of assistance calls or towing services to a station, up to a maximum distance of 100 km per service. Each customer is eligible for a maximum of one package during the promotional period and must activate it before 31/3/2026.

An MSB representative stated that the partnership with VETC and ePass is part of the bank's strategy to build a digital ecosystem. This aims to connect financial services with various aspects of daily life, including transportation, commerce, and education.

"The combination of the smart traffic infrastructure from partners VETC and ePass with MSB's digital banking platform aims to provide customers with a more convenient and secure experience during their travels," the bank's representative shared.

In addition to traffic-related utilities, MSB announced ongoing upgrades to the MSB mBank application experience. The MSB Rewards program is integrated directly into the bank's digital platform, allowing customers to redeem points for shopping, dining, and service vouchers from over 1,000 partners nationwide.
